The first step to achieving immigration in Canada is research. Canada is a beautiful country that attracts many immigrants, however, it is important for an individual to ensure that he/she can comfortably live in Canada.

It is also important that an individual locate a full time job in the country prior to immigration, so that he/she is able to support himself/herself. An individual should consult with an employee of the Canadian Immigration Office or the Canadian Embassy, so that he/she obtains all necessary and relevant information.
To immigrate to Canada, an individual must qualify under an established category. Most individuals will achieve immigration to Canada as a skilled worker or a business owner. If an individual wishes to qualify as a skilled worker, he/she must ensure that his/her field is considered a skilled position and he/she must be employed within this field for at least one year. Many professional positions, including teachers, administrators, writers, managers, and physical scientists are considered to skilled fields.
In addition, an individual must successfully meet the specified eligibility requirements. An individual will be ranked for a number of different criteria, and in order to immigrate to Canada, he/she must obtain a score of 67 or higher. A physical examination is also necessary.
